A trip down to Chapeltown in Leeds to wander round and watch the 41st West Indian Carnival - plenty of sights, sounds, smells and people!

A few snaps of the bank holiday weekend craft festival held at Cawood - pity the weather was a bit damp and overcast whilst we were there..

Popped down to London for Nairn and SJs housewarming party, and managed to catch a lift with Joel, Nicky and the kids - some photos from around Kew area and the Music museum.

Some black and white photography (ISO1600 needed due to low light, so b/w was the better medium I found) of the Shrood gig at Harrys in Wakefield.

A trip to Headingley, Leeds to watch the third day of the 2nd test between England and South Africa. A slow days cricket really, but the atmosphere was good and was worth the day out.

Stoli made an appearance back home with a few poser shots too :-)

A trip down south to visit Heds and Helen, and a wander around the royal parks in London.

Photographs from a trip over to Brussels for a long weekend in May - photos include various buildings in Brussels center, The Atomium attraction, various bits of art, Alison, myself, and not forgetting - the odd beer or two.

I discovered some information about this old railway line on the website lostrailwayswestyorkshire.co.uk and thought I'd go look for the remains. I was extremely surprised so much existed - the rail tracks (with some subsidence), the steel bridge (with big holes in it) and part of Ledston platform (a very very small part of it).

A trip to Leeds for the afternoon to do a bit of shopping and grab some photos whilst the weather stayed nice.
